In this Correspondence letter in The Lancet Gastroenterology & Hepatology, MSF’s Access Campaign and other organisations call on Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance, to immediately start its hepatitis B birth dose vaccine programme, to protect the lives of the more than quarter of a million children infected each year by hepatitis B virus at birth.
